The gift of therapy is for you to get you

EXPATRIATES

I left Canada in 2010 for a teaching job with a one-year contract in a large city in China I had never heard of, Guangzhou. 15 years later, I am now calling my sixth country, Malawi, home. In my time overseas, I have lived in Guangzhou, Jeju, Hong Kong, and Saudi Arabia. Overseas living comes with excitement, adventure, and fantastic job opportunities. It also comes with its fair share of uncertainty, difficult endings, new beginnings, and everything related to setting up a new home, life, and job in a foreign country.

My experiences in living abroad as an expatriate for over 15 years have taught me the real meaning of cultural humility, how to master the art of a beautiful goodbye, and a deep-rooted love and awe for the beauty of this world we live in (along with all of its living beings).

Whether you are thinking about a move for yourself (and your family), are settling into a new job and country, or are wrapping up a chapter of your life in a country – I am here to support you in all phases of transition and change.
